The Solar team from the University of Calgary is coming to the Fox Creek School on May 2nd to challenge the Fox Creek School’s electric powered Beetle.
The public is invited to the presentation which will be in the school gym at 1:30pm. The opportunity to view the two vehicles will follow between 1:50 to 2:30 pm.
The cars will then be readied for the race which will take place at 2:45. It is hoped the race can take place on the school track. However, confirmation that the track is acceptable was not confirmed at press time. If the school track is not suitable (gravel) then the race will start at the corner of Kaybob
